This wonderful vintage 9ct gold heart padlock comes in a set with a vintage charm holding two keys and a tag that reads 'IF FOUND RETURN TO'.
Both the key charms and the padlock have stamps for 9-carat gold, the keys dating to Chester 1960-61. The date letter on the padlock is moderately illegible but appears to date it to earlier.
The padlock is strong and secure; it opens by squeezing the bar at the top left hand side and clicks back into place to close - ideal for wearing between chains and bracelets or adorning chain links.
Choose to wear the set together or separately; you basically get two charms in one with this fantastic set.
Both pieces in this set are a beautiful yellow gold colour that pairs well with high-carat pieces.
Please note that the keys are a separate charm that is styled with the padlock as they blend together so well - the keys do not operate the padlock lock.
