The beautiful natural sapphires are an elegant royal blue colour that contrasts the rich deep 18-carat yellow gold and the pretty diamonds that are set inbetween. The natural diamonds, also rose-cut and perfectly paired, are arranged into starburst settings.

Excellent Antique Condition

This gorgeous antique ring is in excellent antique condition. There is no sign of prior resizing to the band which is original to the piece. Slight discolouration to the gold on the underside of the ring in the section where the stones are set.

Sapphires are a bright royal blue hue, well saturated with very good clarity. Sapphires are in good condition with minor abrasions to one of the side stones, and to one of the diamonds, both unseen to the naked eye.

Hallmarks are crisp and clear with Birmingham marks and the date letter for 1911. The maker's mark is slighltly faded due to age and therefore illegible.

She is an extremely beautiful piece with magical history.
